The two weeks after I returned to my OBGYN office and the baby had gained a considerable amount of weight. However, they were concerned about the heart and the baby having a two vessel cord.
I informed my doctor that inspite of what the results are, I'm keeping my baby. Any talk of having an abortion was off the table.
I informed my doctor that inspite of what the results are, I'm keeping my baby. Any talk of having an abortion was off the table. What I held on to was the promise of God. See whatever Jesus says has to come to pass, His word cannot return to him void.
What my OBGYN didn't know is that I had a community of medical professionals that I had in my corner, some family and close friends. So when they gave me a result that seemed scary, I had the luxury of second opinions.
My first and second trimester was a breeze, no morning sickness, no swelling of ankles, no preclamsia or gestational diabetes. I paid attention to what I ate, and tried my best to eat on time.
